Minnatur Rahmaan vol.1: An Advice to the brothers in `Aqeedah, action and behaviour

Minnatur Rahmaan vol.2: Al-Ittiba wa Tazkiyyah

Authored by Sheikh Dr. Yasir Burhami it is a text dealing with contemporary issues of `Aqīdahin Al-ittiba' and Tazkiyyah. The book covers issues from the position of 'aql in shari'ah and stubbornness in following a madhab to the rights of brotherhood.

 

 

Al-Mandhūmah al-Hā’iyyah

It is a poem concerning `Aqīdah entitled al-Hā’iyyah because each line ends with the letter ح. It comprises of 33 lines covering various topics from the definition of al-īmaan to the Qur’an being the kalaam of Allāh.

 

The poem was written by Ibn Abū Dāwūd who was born in Sijistān in the year 230 AH. His teachers include: `Ali al-Marwazi, Muhammad bin Yahya azh-Zhuhali, Muhammad bin al-Muthanna, Yūsuf bin Mūsa al-Qattān. His students include: Abū Hafs `Amr bin Shāhīn, Imām ad-Dāraqutni, `Abdur-Rahmān bin Abū Hātim, Abū `Abdullāh bin Battah. He is considered to be from amongst the scholars of Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-Jamā`ah, and followed the Hanbali school of thought. Some of his works include: al-Musnad, an-Nāsikh wa al-Mansūkh, at-Tafsīr, al-Qirā’āt, al-Masābīh, Nadhm al-Qur’ān, al-Ba`th wa an-Nushūr. He passed away in the year 316 AH, leaving behind eight children.

 

Al-`Aqīdah al-Waasitiyyah

Al-`Aqīdah al-Waasitiyyah is the famous treatise written by Sheikh Al-Islaam ibn Taymiyyah in response to a request from a judge from Wasith. The treatise deals with the perfect and undefiled `Aqīdah of the Salaf-As-Sālih (Pious Predecessors) particularly in regards to Allāh's Names and Attributes, with solid arguments in brief words and terminology. The book is highly appreciated by the scholars for its brevity as well as comprehensiveness; and for its contents produced perfectly in line with the Qur'an and Sunnah in an appealing and manifest manner.

 

Kitaab At-Tawheed

Written by Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab, a renowned scholar and a great reformer of his times, is truly an excellent treatise well written, brief and concise and a comprehensive treatment of the subject of the Tawheed that the Messengers were sent with.
