A single-weekend workshop on speaking effectively in a public context.
What makes public speaking different than, say, just talking to a crowd of people, is in the way information is conveyed. In public speaking, the information is purposeful and meant to inform, influence or entertain a live audience. This workshop will cover a number of key areas in public speaking including:
Using body language and understanding its impact
Effective use of voice and intonation
Analysing an orator delivering a speech
